The Media plays an important role in the dissemination of health information. Cochrane Nigeria hosts periodic interactive sessions (tagged ‘media chat’) with media practitioners from print and electronic media organizations in Nigeria on evidence-based health care to promote evidence-based reporting of health issues that are of key national relevance. Cochrane Nigeria also partners with media organizations by sending them monthly press releases on relevant health issues published in Cochrane Systematic Reviews.
